Ce classement concerne les 120 premiers ports au monde sur 500 ports qui ont une activit\u00e9 conteneur. Ainsi, Tanger Med devient le 1er port de transbordement de conteneurs en M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e. Pour rappel, le port a r\u00e9alis\u00e9, en 2019, 4,8 millions de conteneurs, enregistrant la meilleure progression du top 50 avec une croissance de + 38%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle du continent africain, Tanger Med est suivi par Port Said en Egypte \u00e0 la 45\u00e8me&nbsp; place (3, 86 millions de conteneurs), Durban en Afrique du sud \u00e0 la 71\u00e8me place (2,76 millions de conteneurs), Alexandrie en Egypte \u00e0 la 90\u00e8me place (1,81 millions de conteneurs), Lom\u00e9 au Togo \u00e0 la 99\u00e8me place (1,5 millions de conteneurs), Mombasa au Kenya \u00e0 la 106\u00e8me place (1,41 millions de conteneurs), et Lagos au Nig\u00e9ria \u00e0 la 115\u00e8me place (1,30 millions de conteneurs).
